A Thousand Ways
To Tell Your Story
I love the nostalgia that rummaging through boxes of old photos brings. Takes me back to my childhood when this was the way that people shared their memories. It was personal. It was a way to listen to a family member tell you a story. You sat on a couch and passed 4x6 photos around in a group and reminisced about the moments and memories. I want people to get back to that. I don't want the memories that we capture to live solely on Facebook and Instagram. I want to offer a different experience to the people that we are lucky enough photograph. I decided to start making my wedding couples custom, handmade boxes to keep their favorite pictures in. I want you to have a way to tell your story, in a way that is as unique as you are.
So I created Hatch & Clay Woodcraft, to work alongside my lovely wife Breanna, creating unique handmade keepsakes, pottery, and home decor.
All of my boxes are handcrafted by the same dude that takes your photos, with locally sourced lumber from Timberwolf Slabs In Crystal lake. I am excited to be creating new art in a new medium! Every box has it's own bit of character. This is going to be a new offering to our couples moving forward, but feel free to reach out if you are a past client, or even a photographer looking to offer your couples a different experience.
